The Elephant family includes the Elephantino chair, a significant icon among Kristalia's furniture collection. A winning design from every perspective, here it is, the Elephantino chair in an outdoor version, designed to embellish and offer its comfort to those who use it. The chair features a four-legged base and a polypropylene shell with armrests, and in this case, the structure can be equipped with a hole for water drainage. Kristalia was founded in 1994 by a young group of Friulians with a passion for jazz, who did the smartest but also the easiest and most immediate thing they could do, they looked around them. In the north-east, where the company was to be built, they discovered sectors that were completely new to design, but in which local excellence was expressed: hiking boots, the production of automotive components, clothing and knitwear. And in these places they decide to set a new pace, one that meets design innovation.
In just a few years, Kristalia became a point of reference inside and outside Italy: in the 2000s it made history for extendable tables; in the 1910s it was one of the design companies that designers looked to with most interest, and in recent years it has opened up to the world of contract furniture.
Today, they have become the first to seek them out to develop new ideas, to establish solid and lasting relationships with a family of designers, planners or craftsmen, opening up to new talents capable of dialogue with a precise, tense, visionary grammar and a strong drive for innovation.
