TAKE CARE OF THE MATERIALS OF YOUR OUTDOOR

During these summer days, the outdoor space has become the real star of the house: from aperitifs with friends to family dinners to enjoy the cool of the evening, from sunbathing to open-air calls for those who are still in smart working.
Every occasion is good to fully enjoy your outdoor, but you have to take care of it, starting with the furnishings.

In fact, good outdoor furniture must be able to withstand any type of weather and climate: rain, sun, wind, saltiness, heat, cold and so on and so forth. It is a challenge against time that can only be won if you know the chosen materials and the tricks to take care of them.

Here is a little guide to always keep in mind!
Plastic: if you prefer this material, the first thing you need to know is that they easily lose color. To avoid this, focus on polypropylene furniture with colored in the mass, it means that the color is mixed in the material, and lacquered easy to clean.

Wood: another protagonist of the gardens, but which requires a lot of care. In fact, every year you have to dedicate time to their maintenance through the use of natural oils that prevent deterioration caused by mold or mildew. Without these attentions, humidity and temperature changes will cause damage to the furnishings.

Aluminum: for those who love the industrial style it is the perfect material, but be careful because it fills up with halos if not cleaned correctly. For an ever-new effect, use hot epoxy powder coated, to be cleaned with simple soap and water.

Steel: it is the best ever, able to withstand any weather. The only suggestion, once washed, dry it immediately to prevent limescale from settling, creating stains that ruin the aesthetics of the whole.

Natural or synthetic fibers: they adapt to a greener style, but they are the most delicate, especially if they are not of high quality as they tend to crumble. To prevent damage, cover them during the hottest hours of the day with a towel and with the arrival of autumn, store them indoors, ready to be reused next spring-summer.

Fabrics: kitchens, seats and carpets cannot be missing from outdoor furniture. The best ones are those that are breathable and that let water pass, but they must be combined with padding that allows the rain water to escape or evaporate completely. Also pay attention to waterproof accessories, they always have seams in which liquids infiltrate but do not evaporate, thus destroying the interior.

Now you are ready to take care of your outdoor furnishings to enjoy them 100%.
