CREATIVITY IN FUNCTIONALITY
In a historical period like this, where the phenomenon of restructuring of environments is increasingly the protagonist within our home, it is important to have clear ideas to understand what to keep, what to recover and what to twist to follow your own style.
It is the moment in which to choose the color palette that will accompany the days at home, opt for tiles that blend perfectly with the warmth of wood and understand how to make the most of all the heights that characterize the individual environments: from wardrobes to niches, from shelves to flap doors, from antique floors to DIY accessories.
And it is also the moment in which to fantasize about reshaping spaces according to one's needs in a game of styles and joints to be copied.
So let's start making the rooms bright, how? In the kitchen, start with butter-white furniture and continue with the same color up to the ceiling in order to save a terracotta floor in perfect condition. The tone-on-tone hulling will make everything warmer and more welcoming.
If there is a niche in the living area, you can save it by restoring old doors to create a very personal pantry that gives an extra touch to the corner dedicated to family lunches. To soften the slightly more classic style of parquet, instead, choose a strong color for the walls such as anthracite and opt for iron and black accessories.
Finally, in the sleeping area the wardrobes can be adapted to every need. Equip a wall with a bar to hang clothes and divide the man's side from the woman's side, closing it all off with two long solid-colored curtains. At the center of them, on the other hand, create a niche by saving, for example, an old cupboard and place it in the center: it will have both a basic function for photos and accessories as a decoration and the usefulness of containing the most precious objects away from prying eyes.
And for the bedside tables? An old overturned box becomes an excellent support base, also thanks to the lid that turns into a door. Sweeten everything with lots of flowers and plants that give freshness to any environment and the renovation is done.
